The LogSync system is an automatic control unit for the synchronized dumping of sawmill logs on sorting lines.
The LogSync system can operate in two modes, manual or automatic. In the automatic mode, the LogSync system receives information from the Logscan® system, while in the manual mode it receives information from a keypad. In both cases, the information is used so that, together with the signals from the position encoders and optical sensors installed in the sorting line, the piece is unloaded into the assigned classification bin.
Signals received by the system:
- Bin code given by the Logscan system, in automatic mode.
- Classification bin code given from the keypad, in manual mode.
Signals generated by the system:
- Output for activation of the given classification bin pushbutton.
- Output for activation of visual alarms to the operator.
- Status messages to the Logscan® system, if connected.
- Display of encoder and/or sensor status.
