SCANWOOD
BOARD MEASUREMENT SCANNER
Scanwood
ScanWood is a device for on-line measurement of thickness, length and width of boards moving either longitudinally or transversely.
The system uses photocells, position encoders and high-resolution, high-speed laser triangulation sensors to generate a three-dimensional image of a board with a high density of points.
The data from each of the tables is stored in a database from which reports are obtained, defined by date and time ranges at the user’s request.
ScanWood can be used with the optimization software OpTICAS, which allows to optimize the tables according to their geometry, thickness, width, length and dead edge.
- Automatic measurement of geometrical parameters of the boards.
- Output signals for activation of alignment stops, unloading bins, etc.
- Generation of visual and audible alarms to the user.
- On-screen help, online user manual and answers to common questions.
- Ethernet connection to get reports and/or set the system.
- Information for each board, width, thickness, length, volume, coining.
- Total number of boards.
- Total volume.
- Statistical information on screen, total number of boards processed in the shift, total volume accumulated in the shift.
- Production reports, board by board, stops, other options.
