Scanner Tempera® is an advanced online rotary kiln shell temperature measurement and monitoring system. It uses a modern infrared head, achieving measurements with wide angular coverage and high spatial resolution, a configuration that allows detecting even the detachment of a brick inside the kiln.
The Tempera® Software is a powerful tool for thermal monitoring, analysis and online control. The automatic storage of information, together with a series of functions provided by the software, allows a detailed analysis of the thermal conditions of the kiln.
Easy to use and intuitive, it allows to detect anomalies in the kiln shell and to correlate the thermal information with the process variables delivered by the plant control systems.
- Historical thermal maps, with storage for more than 10 years.
- Automatic maximum temperature zone zoom and dynamic zoom in a range of meters.
- Thermal map comparison and differences and pseudo-color selection in temperature range of interest.
- Thermal map animations, in user-defined date ranges, to review the evolution of banding or hot spot monitoring.
- Remote access, through the facilities network, to the thermal map display and all analysis functions.
- Data transmission to the facilities control system.
- Control of kiln shell cooling fans.
- 2D and 3D display of the kiln shell thermal map.
- Thermal profile, cross-sectional, longitudinal or point-to-point trend graphs.
- Maximum, minimum, average temperature and the position of the same along the furnace.
- Visual alarms for fan activation and temperature limit activation.
- Tire slip values per turn, when the Tempera DLL module has been integrated.
